Other act(s): W.A.S.P.
Reported audience: 7,000 / 10,000 (70%)
Set list(s):
Unknown.
Notes:
- Initially scheduled for March 19.
- From a local review: "The nearly 3 1/2 hour concert was memorable only to the extent that it was all but impossible to tell where the first song ended and the last song began... After a nearly forty minute intermission, which was the most satisfying part of the evening, former rock superstars KISS came on stage wearing their own set of crazy costumes and custom made guitars. KISS, which -- how different -- consists of three guitarists and a drummer, is a decade old band which at one time was one of the hottest acts in rock 'n' roll. That was when they had the gimmick of wearing bizarre makeup on stage. The makeup is gone, and although bassist Gene Simmons still sticks out his abnormally long tonight and still breathes fire, the band must now rely on its music to get them by. Unfortunately... As spokesman of the group, Paul Stanley wasted little time in using four letter words to show how sophisticated he was, as well as introducing the song 'Love Gun' by describing a sexual fantasy. Perhaps the level of taste these gentlemen have developed with no less than 19 albums can be summed up by Simmons, who attached to his bass as if it were a badge of honor, a girl's undergarment that was thrown up on stage" (Morning Union, 3/29/85).
- A partial AUD recording circulates from this show.
