Notes:

- A local ad on Dec. 27 erroneously listed the concert as taking place that evening. The error was noted in the following day's Greensboro News & Record.
- From a local review: "Gone is the makeup. Gone is Ace Frehley, the lightning-fast guitarist who left the band to pursue personal fame. Gone is Peter Criss, the drummer who gave KISS airplay with the hit 'Beth.' What remains is a band that stuck to its roots and did what it does best: play hard-driving rock 'n' roll. And they did just that Sunday night at the Greensboro Coliseum to an audience of more than 8,000. KISS is a band that is known for its theatrics, for its bizarre stage presence and for its volume. All three of these came out Sunday night in magnum force. That is, they were loud, they were bizarre and they were different.

Some thought KISS died early in the '80s. They had no songs on the radio, and the public was ready to sweep them under the carpet. But for each person who grows out of KISS there is another to take up the following. This was a good show and nobody puts on a show like KISS. Some said before the concert that the group was going to put on one of their best light shows and they did. The lights were especially effective on the slower songs and added to the dramatic buildups in the driving songs that make KISS famous... It was an enjoyable concert. Fans who remember KISS from the early '70s would enjoy them just as much now as they did then if they remember one thing: KISS may not be a great band, but they put on one great show" (Greensboro News & Record, 12/30/85).
- An AUD recording exists from this show.
