On Tour: KISS "Rock the Nation"

While Gene had suggested in interviews that the Aerosmith/KISS pairing would continue after a break in 2004, by late-January Aerosmith had announced that they had decided to hook up with Cheap Trick for their next tour -- scheduled to start in March. A few days after Aerosmith's announcement, Australian tour promoter Andrew McManus' website indicated that KISS had hooked up with Limp Bizkit for some Australian dates. While the site quickly removed all mention of the tour, it wasn't before many fans were sent into apoplectic fits at the concept of such a pairing.
