"Paul Stanley" was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA on 10/2/78. It has sold over 33,000 copies since the SoundScan era commenced in 1991. The album was certified gold by the CRIA (Canada) for sales of 50,000 copies on 12/1/78. Contemporaneously, Casablanca had shipped 1,300,539 copies of Paul's album by the end of June 1979, which, surprisingly, was the fewest of the four solo albums.
"Move On" was performed by KISS during the 1979 "Return of KISS" tour. Paul eventually performed "Tonight You Belong To Me," "Wouldn't You Like To Know Me," and "Goodbye" during his 1989 solo tour. All four songs were again performed during his 2006/7 "Live to Win" tours. "Goodbye" also made regular appearances on the 1995 convention tour and "Move On," "Take Me Away (Together As One)" and "Tonight You Belong To Me" were all attempted.
